P E R S O N A L
There's another side of me I would like to share with you if you've chosen to visit this page. Weekends throughout the year, I have the unique opportunity to travel around the United States and the world to officiate at cat shows. Licensed as a Cat Fancier's Association (CFA) judge since 1991, I have traveled to more than 15 countries throughout the Northern Hemisphere to share my knowledge of more than 39 breeds.
How does someone become a cat judge? I bred and showed cats for 15 years, specializing in Persians and Scottish Folds. I also bred Abyssinians and dabbled in Siamese, Birmans, Exotics, Bombays, Burmese and British Shorthairs.
Currently, I serve as an All Breed judge, the highest judging status.
CFA is the world's largest registering body for purebred felines, sanctioning shows in the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. If you want more information on purebred cats, I invite you to visit their web site at www.cfainc.org.

Whiteiron's Dirty Dancing

Judging a Persian in Augsburg, Germany.
My love of cats and international travel has given me the opportunity to develop my interest in photographing cats from around the world.

From Shizou, China, March 2002

From Hanoi, Vietnam, March 2002

From Rome, Italy, November 2003
My interest in photography is not limited to cats. In September 2003, I white water rafted the Colorado River through Grand Canyon and captured this late afternoon view from my camp site. You'll also find other photos from the "dream" trip here.
